Wobbly Womb - Video Program

February 15 to March 15, 2020

Wobbly Womb is a video visible from sundown to sunrise on Charlotte Street.

Her work is an animation loop consisting of several large vertical hand painted frames of an imagined x-ray of the artist’s abdomen. The loop acting as a clock with the body tirelessly and continuously shedding its uterine lining and replenishing itself. Outside influences and regulations begin to create blockages within the body and create a new and dysfunctional cycle that the body is forced to adhere to.

Co-production ELLEPHANT / Ed Video Media Art Center (Guelph, Ont)

This project is realized thanks to the financial support of the Government of Quebec and Ontario

Angeline - VR Program

January 18 to February 22, 2020

Angeline is an interactive VR space that immerses participants in a calm, generative cave that is organic, yet rigid in form. People are invited to explore the relationships between their movements and the procedures which transform the shape and sound of the environment. It’s a space for contemplation of the emergent complexities within structures composed of simple, repetitive transformations.
