ELLEPHANT was founded in 2015 by curator and writer Christine Redfern. The gallery takes its name from the expression “the elephant in the room,” reflecting its commitment to presenting art that engages with the social, environmental, and technological realities of our contemporary era while imagining new perspectives and potential futures.
