“My nights during curfew were, like for many of us, long, very long. So, I got an attestation to go out and photograph Montreal deserted. Walking the streets, watching the silent workers and the lonely homeless with no one to pass them a coin or two. Even the police seemed unoccupied. In this slowness, a delivery person passed furtively, another parked, another was awaiting an order, then another, and still others. All of them with a cell phone in their hand.” – Emmanuelle Léonard.
