Battling the biting cold, Emmanuelle Léonard had the idea of working with a thermal camera. Patiently awaiting the precise alignment of elements within each composition, she never staged the scenes unfolding in front of her lens. The series Black Out (The Deliverers) authentically captures the experiences of workers, particularly food delivery people, silently and steadfastly carrying out their duties amid the impactful era of the pandemic.
