Inframondes

Sabrina Ratté’s exhibition Inframondes will take over ELLEPHANT gallery and Peace Park starting May 29, 2026.

In the gallery, three works will be presented: two new videos, Survey of Waves (2026) and Archipels (2025), as well as the interactive installation Pharmakon (2025), activated by the viewer turning the pages of a book of plants where remedy and poison are indistinguishable. Pharmakon returns to Montreal following its most recent presentations at Festival Noûs, the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris, and as part of the exhibition Entwined at Contemporary Calgary.

The artist will be present at ELLEPHANT on May 29 from 7–9 pm. In collaboration with OFFTA, four images from Survey of Waves will also be presented on large-scale light boxes in Peace Park. On May 30 at 9pm, Sabrina Ratté will present a live performance in the park in front of ELLEPHANT, accompanied by her longtime musical collaborator Roger Tellier-Craig.
